Weapons demonstrations with sword rattling will introduce future generations to the weapons, fighting methods and military traditions of the past.
10:00; 12:00; 13:30; 16:00 LIVING HISTORY - IMPROVISATION SHOW
The MomentĂĄn Company with the historian Csaba Katona recalls the events and historical figures of the 1848-49 Revolution and War of Independence at Buda Castle. The interactive performance will bring the most exciting moments and most significant figures of Hungarian history to life, drawing on the ideas of the audience.

HUSSARS ON HORSEBACK
The hussars of the Palace Quarter in Buda Castle are reminiscent of the 1848-49 Revolution and War of Independence. Riders of the National Cavalry Regiment of the Republic of Hungary and the Honvéd Huszår (Hungarian Hussar Regiment) perform their duties in the spirit of preserving our national defence traditions and cultural values.
All the programmes of the Tickos Courtyard are free of charge, no pre-registration required! In case of bad weather, the programmes will be held in the Riding Hall. Due to the limited capacity of the venue, you may have to wait to enter. Our event is open to the press and photos and videos of participants will be taken.
