It's no wonder that a host of poets and musicians have been inspired by the tiny and not-so-tiny inhabitants we share our planet with. Favourite pieces from this repertoire follow each other in this concert, played on an instrument capable of so many nuances, by a pianist renowned for his colourful and sensitive playing. And although nothing expresses the diversity of the animal world better than the language of sound, words will also sparkle in János Lackfi's flirtatious poems, starring chickens, swans, mules - or pianists...
