Schedule
Gabi Lakatos, aka GAB, graduated from the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, majoring in jazz singing. Besides singing, she actively plays instruments and writes songs. She is constantly searching for a sound that breaks traditional song structures, so she embraces jazz, but also the stylistic characteristics of more popular genres. His first album will be released in the spring, produced by Dan Pinto, DonC and Silksilver, and featuring features from Egyedi, DonC and Goulasch. The title track of the album is Magnolia.
The 24-year-old Józsi Hegedűs, born in Freiskígyós and working as a day-care teacher, has been writing songs for ten years now on single guitar, whose lyrical melancholy bears the legacy of Tamás Cseh, although he admits that "the Devil or the Holy Spirit or both whisper and hum" them in his ears. The Eucharistic Congress has been his biggest audience so far, but it is the closeness and communion created by the music that is really important to him.
Akvárium
As they describe themselves, it is Budapest's most frequented venue, which is also multifunctional. Akvárium is great for award ceremonies, afternoon coffees and, most importantly, concerts, thanks to the well-picked, cross-genre selection.
