Spring is the new summer!
A city-wide "Urban Festival" starts in Sopron.

Schedule
On 28-29-30 April, Lővérek will host a concert offering that will showcase a significant part of the 2023 cross-section of Hungarian popular music, with Azahriah, Dzsúdló, Halott Pénz, Majka, Beton.Hofi, Krúbi, Valmar, Tankcsapda and this year's first concert by Quimby among others. More than 20 video shows will move to Sopron as part of the Telekom Podcast Fest, including Bence Istenes, Csaba Kajdi, Endre Kadarkai and Marci Miskovits, Lil Frak and Sopron-born Abosi Barni, who is also the host of SopronFest. There will be exhibitions in ten venues, Sopron Beer Days in the Main Square, tours in and around the city, dozens of local clubs, cafés, restaurants and wine bars, and a colourful programme of events for visitors and locals alike. Trabant buses will take visitors to the most important sites of the regime change, and for three days the Sopronkőhida prison will open its heavily guarded gates to the public.
Jenő Rácz is preparing a special lunch for Sopron, the Street Kitchen team is organising a terrace in the Lővérek, and the best of wine and gastronomy will be waiting for guests from all over the city.
The grand opening will take place on the evening of 27 April on the Main Square with Charlie and on the balcony of the Fire Tower with Be Massive Horizon. The guests with wristbands will also enjoy discounts from many of the city's caterers, including free use of the city buses for three days.
Sopron can now be reached in two hours from Budapest by train and car, so SopronFest is open to those planning a day trip, as well as those who would like to stay longer in a Sopron hotel or even a student hostel.
