What is Forró?
Forró was born in the Northeastern Region of Brazil, thanks to its cultural, musical and ethnic diversity, as well as the basic human need to celebrate in community with music and dance. Forró refers to a musical genre, a rhythm, a dance style and a social event where forró is played and danced. Historically being an environment that welcomes diversity, this tendency continues nowadays.
/////////////////
Forró Budapest aims to create a safe and welcoming environment for everyone:

🌿 Be mindful of hygiene – Forró is a contact dance, so keep yourself fresh.
❌ We do not tolerate any form of discrimination, harassment, or oppressive behavior, including sexism, racism, homophobia, and transphobia.
