KASSA pres. Kendal, Desolate Discotheque
One of the biggest figures of modern Italo-disco–infused EBM, trance, and synthwave is coming to Budapest!

On November 28, the KASSA boat welcomes Kendal, one of the key figures of modern Italo disco. The French producer and DJ is not only known for his solo work but also for forming the duo Infravision with Pablo Bozzi, a project that left its mark on the history of underground electronic music with its futuristic blend of Italo and trance. In his solo sets, Kendal fuses the legacy of Italo and synthwave with the energy of trance, EBM, and dark disco, creating an uplifting and driving atmosphere.
Joining him is Desolate Discotheque from Berlin, a DJ, producer, and the founder of Crave Tapes – the underground label dedicated to EBM, Dark Italo, and New Beat that has achieved cult status among fans in recent years.
On the Hungarian front, the main room will feature the country’s disco pope, Galactic Jackson, who can conjure the golden era of the genre with every set. Also on board: Man + Machine, whose cyberpunk-inspired, dark disco-driven industrial electronics have gained international recognition, and Rh4dez, representing the fresh impulses of the new generation.

Up the Danube! Kassa aims to lure you on board Kassa, the new favourite of the electronic music audience in Budapest, moored on the most spectacular downtown stretch of the Danube! Wandering through the labyrinth of the ship's hull, space and time are completely eliminated, and the Martin Torus sound technology sounds with a dynamics and clarity that Budapest audiences have never experienced before. And to complete the audio-visual experience, a giant LED wall and countless robotic lights and other visual devices are also set up in the main hall.
