In Iran, Western music is currently banned from state media and there are serious consequences for organizing electronic parties. Tired of this oppressive situation, the protagonists of Raving Iran, two DJs who dominate the techno scene in Tehran, start distributing their records without permission and organise one last emblematic illegal rave in the desert. The film follows their maniacal chase through scorching sands, banned house parties and a constant stream of cops.
After the film, Barbad will play music.
