Sober Ravers – An alternative in the nightlife

Sober Ravers is an event series where the experiences associated with nightlife—music, dance, and connection—are not centered around substance use. In Hungary, nightlife culture almost automatically goes hand-in-hand with alcohol or other mind-altering substances. While this is seen as natural and generally accepted by many, there is less talk about the fact that other patterns can exist.

The goal of this series is not judgment or prohibition, but rather demonstrating a motivating, alternative approach: that joy and liberation are not exclusively achievable through substances, but can be experienced and shared in other ways.

Note on Alcohol: Alcohol will be available for purchase alongside non-alcoholic options. We do not stand for prohibition; we stand for conscious, planned, and responsible decisions. It is important to us that substance use is not discussed as a taboo or in extremes, but in all its real-world complexity. Since alcohol is a part of social life for many, we want to provide space to explore how this can be experienced consciously, responsibly, and with self-awareness.

Our mission is to introduce people to non-alcoholic options while celebrating electronic music styles and the pure experience of sober partying. We are creating a space where information and celebration coexist.

Our Goals:

  • To educate young people, substance users, and their families about the dangers of addiction using accessible and open language.

  • To raise awareness about health risks and, most importantly, provide guests with safety, solutions, and „coping keys.”

DJ Lineup:

  • Sabira (Ambient meditation set)

  • Sviatko (Afrohouse DJ set)

  • Zsofie (DnB)

  • Johanna Bozai b2b Ädene (Bouncy – Hard)
