Six Feet Under
Six Feet Under is an American death metal band formed in Tampa, Florida in 1993. The band was formed by Cannibal Corpse vocalist Chris Barnes and Obituary guitarist Allen West. They were joined by bassist Terry Butler, who also played in Massacre and Death, and drummer Greg Gall. Since three of the original members were well-known musicians in death metal circles, the band can be considered a supergroup. Their music is a simple, groove-based death metal, and they are often referred to as death 'n' roll. Their songs deal with themes of death, murder, violence, politics, and marijuana.
Schedule
They have released twelve albums over their career, selling over 370,000 copies in the United States alone. According to Nielsen Soundscan, they are the fourth best-selling death metal band in the United States. Six Feet Under is very typical of the mid-tempo, sometimes fast double-pedal rhythms, fills and the marching deep distorted guitar rumble. The vocals, like on Cannibal Corpse's first four albums (which also feature Chris Barnes singing), are dry, slightly hoarse, and hot... the bass guitar brings the destructive atmosphere of the guitar and drums.
A38 Ship
Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
