Born and raised in Budapest, Hungary, Cvrdwell is not only a DJ but also a producer and live performer. He is the co-founder and owner of renowned projects such as Vault Budapest, Nonverbal Language Records, and GRID Budapest.
Having sharpened his DJ skills at the age of 13, over two decades ago, Cvrdwell has become a well-known face in the Budapest nightlife. Throughout the years, he has organized and participated in a wide range of events, spanning from house to techno.
Furthermore, Cvrdwell has a passion for music production, with a particular expertise in sound design. He has released tracks on esteemed labels including Secession, Warok, Diffuse Reality, and Postdynamic, among others. His signature style combines fast-paced, groovy, analog-fueled techno, infused with a touch of melancholy and cutting-edge sound design. While he embraces a forward-thinking approach, he remains rooted in the genre's foundations.
In recent years, Cvrdwell has gained recognition in the Hungarian techno scene through his hardware-only, improvised modular live acts. Alongside his own career, he actively steers the techno event series 'Vault Budapest' and the corresponding record label 'Nonverbal Language'. As of last year, he is also a co-owner and resident of the Budapest-based event series, GRID Budapest.
