Electroclash was the hottest trend at the beginning of the millennium. The genre reached its peak just 20 years ago.
It was both original and fake, art and trash, precious and disposable. Peaches and Tiga grew out of it. We loved the music that drew from decadent, mostly eighties sources (synthpop, new wave, italo, electro, proto-techno), the poses, the fashion, and of course the Lollipop parties at the Jailhouse. And then, as quickly as it took effect, the electroclash went down.
But now we're starting to miss it, so for one night we're bringing it back to life with some of the greatest electroclash hits of the era.
