The focus is on the new wave/synthpop music of the 80s (NDW, italo, Hi-NRG), as well as their modern counterparts (minimal wave/minimal synth, coldwave, darkwave, dark synthpop, darkitalo), and even a bit of postpunk from the 80s and today .

Durian, the singer of the Swiss duo Karl Kave & Durian, comes to us to present the best hits of their joint project. Their collaboration emerged as a pleasant solution to the forced situation caused by the closures, but their first, spontaneously created material proved to be so successful that it has since had several sequels. Their music is based on the Neue Deutsche Welle, minimal wave, coldwave and other trends from the 80s, but on their latest album they also targeted the dance music of the 90s, transporting it into their own dark synthpop world. Minimalist drum machine beats, icy synthesizer waves, ironic lyrics (which introduce you to the context of patriarchy and cucumber salad, or even the head of Spotify and chicken eggs).

The evening's guest band will be the Budapest-Gyöngyös-based Cold Contrast, which evolved from a one-man coldwave/darkwave project into a full band. Their music was greatly influenced by the defining formations of the dark subculture, such as She Past Away, Boy Harsher, Clan of Xymox or Linea Aspera, their songs mix atmospheric elements of Russian postpunk, coldwave electronics and classic goth themes. According to their own admission, "the start of the project was given a big boost by the flourishing of the domestic scene, led by Empty Story, Utolsó Hullám, and the many excellent bands we have met since then". They recently presented themselves live in Budapest with a great concert, a successful continuation is guaranteed.

After the concerts, there will be a party with the participation of Senkwaves and 80s Delight DJs and their guests.
