Cycle Monkey’s Bike Service has been servicing and building bicycles in Budapest’s 13th district since 2023. Cycling is our passion in every form. As bicycle couriers, we spent decades riding the streets of Budapest, gaining extensive experience in maintaining, repairing, and restoring bikes.
Our goal is to inspire young people to discover the joy of cycling. That’s why we’re bringing a fun cycling quiz and a mini skills course that both kids and parents can enjoy together.
Everyone is welcome to stop by and receive a small gift!
The Cycle Monkey’s Pop-Up Service Station will be offering quick, basic repairs right on the riverside, including brake and gear adjustments, inner tube replacements, and lubrication and adjustment of bike components. You can also take advantage of a free bike safety check and expert advice from our experienced mechanics.

TUNA
Dear people of Turbina!
Hopefully you’ve already heard, but we’re confirming it here too: for the summer season, we’re setting up on the banks of our most beautiful river as well. Turbina will of course stay and keep spinning on Vajdahunyad Street, but its little sibling, TUNA, can be visited every day beneath Vigadó Square (geolocation here), when the embankment road is closed to traffic.
This means we’re waiting for you on the Pest side of the Danube bank, under the tram tracks – on weekdays between 7 PM and midnight, and on weekends between 2 PM and midnight – yay!
Here’s what you’re in for if you come:
- Inside: a cool lounge area, sofas, colorful lights, a bar
- Outside: seating perfect for soaking up some vitamin D
- The Danube practically flowing right under your feet
- A breathtaking view of the Buda Castle, the Citadella, and the Chain Bridge
- Exhibitions during the day, DJ sets and small concerts in the evenings
