Nia Archives, a talent from Leeds in the north of England who moved to Manchester, is one of the most powerful players in the UK jungle scene: the 23-year-old music producer. Through mentorship with the EQ50 programme, which supports female junglists and drum 'n' bass artists, Archives debuted in 2021 with the EP 'Headz Gone West', which has had over 7.5 million global listens on Spotify, including 'Sober Feels'. However, it was perhaps Archives' second EP, "Forbidden Feelingz", released in 2022, that brought him widespread critical acclaim. He has received accolades from prestigious publications such as Rolling Stone UK, GQ, British Vogue, The Face, Pitchfork, The Fader, i-D and CRACK Magazine.

Nia Archives' latest EP, 'Sunrise Bang Ur Head Against Tha Wall', features six tracks that explore themes of personal growth: love, loss, rejection, alienation, coming up and falling down. The EP includes the UK dance chart-topping track 'Baianá', 'No Need 2 Be Sorry, Call Me?' performed by Maverick Sabre, and the heartfelt string-led track 'So Tell Me...'.

Location

Shipyard Island (Óbuda Island)

Óbudai Island, also known as Hajógyári Island, is an island in the Danube in the administrative district of Budapest III. Óbudaisziget is also a part of the city of Budapest. It is a popular place for excursions, but it is not because of this that it has become better known, but because of the Sziget Festival, which has been held here every year since 1993.
