Strandz, a South London artist, blends hip-hop with various genres influenced by his multicultural background—born in Hamburg, raised in Lagos and Nnobi, and now based in London.

His music reflects his diverse upbringing, incorporating sounds from his German mother’s and Nigerian father’s musical tastes, alongside his own love for hip-hop. In 2023, Strandz rose to prominence with hits like ‘Us Against the World’ and ‘J’Adore,’ amassing over 100 million streams and earning a MOBO Best Newcomer nomination. He also expanded his creativity, producing, writing, and engineering his own tracks. His upcoming “care package” promises more experimental sounds, including influences of highlife and amapiano. Strandz's music career began early, working in a local studio at 14, and eventually attending the BRIT School. Moving away from drill, he developed a unique sound, blending hip-hop with various styles. Co-signs from artists like Skepta and Digga D further cement his growing influence. Looking ahead, Strandz plans to continue exploring new musical paths while staying true to his distinct voice.
