The First Major DEGU Concert at Turbina – June 5th

Greetings to everyone interested!

I am DEGU, an independent artist from Budapest, just embarking on my (hopefully long) musical career. Up until now, I’ve mostly been active in the trap genre, but with my debut album releasing this April, I’ve challenged myself by exploring other styles as well.

2026 is a milestone year for my career in many ways, as it marks the release of my first 10-track debut LP. This album features several well-known producers from the Hungarian „new wave” rap scene, such as flexer, shybalenci, ybr, and Dániel Dohány, who have worked with artists like Yeat, ekhoe, Grasa, AKC Misi, Kisé, and Szunyog Tess—to name just a few. Additionally, my friend vlntine played an integral role in the album’s creation as both a producer and sound engineer.

Another major milestone this year is my debut concert, which will center around my album titled KATONA. Of course, I’ll also be performing tracks from my older releases, along with some unreleased songs, during the June 5th show.

The venue will be Turbina. We stand with them 100% and consider the club’s current one-month closure to be deeply unfair.

Setting the stage for me will be vlntine, warming up the crowd with a short but high-energy set. I’m preparing a performance of over an hour to blow the roof off the Turbina Clubroom.
