The Turnout, a somewhat irregular outdoor music and community event organised by the Lumen team. When we do it, we fill our beloved Mikszáth Square with folk, world and jazz music.

Schedule
This year we're doing just that, so not surprisingly we're filling Mikszáth Square with folk, world and jazz music this Saturday. As well as listening to music, you can socialise, play backgammon and, as always, chat. Oh yes, there will be DJs from the house of Lumen.
Detailed programme:
13-16h DJ Kobrizsa, DJ Popdacec and Betétdal will play a selection of game music.
14-19h Playhouse Project - Playing board games for world domination!
Community board games at Mikszáth.
16h Esperia "Cafe Aman"
Esperia's songs will transport you back to the musical cafés and taverns of the cosmopolitan cities of Asia Minor and Greece in the 1920s and 1930s.
17h Said Tichiti & János Vázsonyi
This rarely-performed duo recalls the Moroccan adventures of Bach and Charlie Parker, in the original language, with bass clarinet alto accompaniment.
18:30 Qiyan
"The core of our music is Sephardic music, which is improvised by nature. The basis of our improvisations are these free Arabic-Jewish melodies and maqams, which, together with the written and improvised structures, hold these fluent musical lines together."
20:15
Kovász
A new band led by saxophonist Gergő Kováts explores the intersection of folk music and jazz. In the meantime, funk, hip-hop and other genres are also popping up, even tangentially.
Lumen Café
A café and restaurant in the Mikszáth area, the big brother of KisLumen, where you can enjoy not only food and drinks but also culture. Especially jazz and other music for the mind.
