Jewelry and Ceramics exhibition & fair
DORIVISY x SIMON HOLPERT x FABRIKA
On Saturday, the 25th of November, Fabrika will be hosting a „Jewelry and Ceramics” exhibition, which will also be our last pop-up fair of 2023! To counter the frigid temperatures, we will be preparing our secret recipe mulled wine, our holiday cheer and our usual line up of magical furniture!
You will have the chance to meet two exciting artists on the day, Dóri Visy, who is one of our favorite Hungarian jewelry designers, and Simon Holpert, Franco-Hungarian ceramic artist, who is a returning guest and friend of Fabrika!
The event is pet and child friendly, and entrance is free!
Where: FABRIKA STUDIO MID-CENTURY FURNITURE SHOP 1068. Budapest, Szondi u. 94.

Schedule
Dóri Visy's inspiration is drawn from nature and the forms that lie within the natural world. Just as it is impossible to find two identical leaves, rocks or waves, there are also no identical pieces of jewelry within the collections of dorivisy. She uses 925 silver and 14 carat gold for her jewelry, which are made even more special by her use of precious gems.
Simon Holpert’s ceramics are made with many different techniques, which he will be happy to explain to you passionately at the exhibition! His unique pieces are on display in the collection of the Kecskemét International Ceramic Studio and he has also exhibited at the Pécs Biennale.
"TAЂU Series: Unveiling the Veiled Enigma
Within the tactile contours of these ceramic sculptures lies a fusion of secrecy and organic beauty. Inspired by the armadillo's resilient armor, each piece is crafted to echo the intricacies of this creature's form, reflecting a hidden narrative, akin to the concept of taboo. These sculptures invite contemplation, whispering enigmatic tales while retaining their veiled secrets. Explore this collection where form and mystery intertwine, beckoning you to unravel the concealed whispers within each creation."
FABRIKA STUDIO
FABRIKA merges our passion for furniture design and treasure hunting with evionmeltally contious approach. We procure, save and upcycle old pieces of furniture, because we are enchanted by their secrets and we decided to continue their stories. We are in love with quality design from the past decades, so we are constantly searching for forgotten, discarded pieces, sometimes in dark corners of sheds or in the light of the rising sun on flea markets. We follow the traditional approach to furniture refurbishment, combining it with new, honest methods. Who needs new things when there are already enough beautiful objects in the world?
