The Apu Nerves Band was founded in 2011 in Debrecen, but a few years later the rehearsals continued in Budapest.

In the beginning, the band played punk rock covers, and their enthusiasm and drive has not diminished over the years, and you can feel the pull in both the members and the music. It is impossible to describe the band's style in a few words. It might be "punk-rock" or "party, melodic punk", but the truth is that it's much more than that.

The band puts a lot of emphasis on live sound, both in terms of feeling and quality. The attention to detail in the songs plays an important role in the band's life, with keyboards and the occasional guest instrument adding an absolutely unique style to the songs. The fast and melodic punk rock themes, the metallic interludes, the sometimes more lyrical parts are all there

in the band's performances. You can find extremes in terms of mood at a gig, but there is still something in common in the original songs and arrangements, which makes Daddy Nervous what it is, slow or fast. That's what we love, that's what makes it special.

The songs you hear in concert are not yet recorded in studio quality, so it's especially important to go to a Apu Ideges concert.
