Beton.Hofi burst onto the Hungarian new wave hip hop scene. His first mixtape, comic sins, released in June 2021, was a huge critical and commercial success, and following the release of Playbánia in 2022, it became clear that Beton.Hofi would be a defining pop music artist in the years to come. With his unique sound, (self-)reflective lyrics, hypnotic stage presence, humor, and enthusiastic fan base calling themselves the “Citromale Gang,” he quickly secured his place on the big stages of clubs and festivals in just two years, and then in 2023, he will perform at the sold-out Budapest Park.
