Schedule

Part of the focus on work-free time in the arts.

The first day of the Work Forum is about work done to earn a living: from artists forced into construction work to precarious workers in platform capitalism to the struggle for fair remuneration for artistic work.

5:00-5:30 p.m. Laci&Balázs (Balázs Antal, László Hatházi) - Korom Sasu - installation, performance - Előtér

5:30-6:30 p.m. Veronika Szabó - Júlia Vavra: Mani Me - How much is my work worth? / Bence György Pálinkás - Tímea Török: Pressure! - On the oppression inherent in our working relationships - forum, workshop (in two groups after a joint introduction) - Club, Cabin

6:30-7:30 p.m. Discussion with the Couriers' League about self-organization, platform work, and ethical migration - Club

Visual artists Balázs Antal and László Hatházi, together with dancer-choreographer Sasu Korom, will present a joint performance based on their more than ten years of experience as decorative painters in the construction industry.

The artist duo known as Laci&Balázs will also create an installation in the foyer of the Trafó theater, drawing on situations, moods, people, and materials they have encountered in their "money-making" work. The installation will be open to visitors until March 22 (the end of the focus).

Veronika Szabó and Júlia Vavra are opening a forum on fair remuneration for artistic work – not only for performing artists. It is not easy to talk about salaries and money even in the freelance artist community: the Mani Me

Mani Me - How much is my work worth? initiative initiates a transparent, courageous, and taboo-free dialogue on all of these issues.

Pálinkás Bence György és Török Tímea a munkaviszonyainkban rejlő elnyomás kérdéseiről hívnak közös gondolkodásra és tapasztalatcserére.

A napot a Futárok Ligája tagjaival zárjuk. Platformmunka, önszerveződés, etikus migráció – és a kérdés, hogyan lehet kollektíven fellépni a bizonytalan és kiszolgáltatott munkakörülményekkel szemben.
